Anschutz 64 R Sporter Target

Based on the lighter 64 match action, the new 64 Sporter Target is match quality workmanship and accuracy. The 64 action and 8 groove Olympic match ANSCHUTZ target barrel are the same as the world renowned 1416, 1517 and 64 MPR rifles. The 11 mm receiver rail for scope mounting is textured to reduce reflection when metallic sights are used. The bolt face is recessed for full cartridge head support. An additional gas escape groove guarantees safety. A lateral sliding safety blocks the trigger. The rifle can be loaded and unloaded in the “safe” position. A claw extractor and an additional cartridge holder with ejector guarantee trouble-free fast repeating. The two stage trigger 5098 is adjusted to a weight of 10 oz. and can be adjusted by gunsmiths from 8.2 oz. to 10.7 oz. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and ANSCHUTZ target sights. The target stock with adjustable butt plate and accessory rail, fits right and left hand shooters.
