
NEWS FLASH:
It is believed that this Election Period, from January 10 to June 9, 2010, civilians are not allowed to bring home newly-purchased firearms. This is a misconception. It IS possible to do so. According to Comelec Resolution No. 8742, a civilian who purchases a firearm will be given an exemption that will allow him to transport his firearm from our store to his place of residence. …amending Resolution No. 8714 regarding “Rules and Regulations on the Bearing, Carrying or Transporting of Firearms or Other Deadly Weapons during the Election Period”, adding that: “In the case of sale of firearms, the transport or delivery of the same shall be done by the authorized dealer itself on a one-way basis directly to the address of the buyer within twenty four (24) hours”
